Century of Design is a set of stamps made to honor certain movements within graphic design. The Japan set features three famed Japanese graphic design figures: Shigeo Fukuda, Koichi Sato, and Takenobu Igarashi.

Designwise, it utilizes a CMYK color scheme. While modern Japan has plenty of digital designers, from Heian period, it has a rich history in printed media. The concepting of this set pays tribute to that.
